A New Adventure

Moving to Pine Bush NY from Long Island in 2020 was definitely a quality of life move. Looking forward to a more peaceful, less stressful pace was important to both my wife and I and we had discussed the change for a couple of years before we finally pulled the plug. It is a move that neither of us have regretted.

Purchasing the property in Orange County was a huge change for both of us at the beginning. The sheer size of it compared to the usual Nassau County postage stamp property took a bit of getting used to, especially the openness and space but also the upkeep and maintenance. Six bags of mulch were sufficient in Lynbrook for the flower beds - six cubic yards wouldn’t put a dent in it up here!

That being said I believe that life should be and is an adventure. It is an ever evolving thing just like ourselves. Changes should be embraced because change in its many forms is an absolute certainty. So far the change has been good for us.
